Biodanza means to dance life ...

Biodanza in a beautiful environment in the style of a small family.

Often we are in conference centres and have to pay relatively high costs. This time I would like to propose a trip with Biodanza where we cater for ourselves and organise the day together. It is possible to go to the beach or doze by the pool, read or go hiking. What unites us all are the Biodanza sessions and having breakfast and dinner together.

The week will allow us to totally relax, to dance lively or loosely, to find ourselves again and to experience ourselves in all our intensity. Being in harmony with yourself, with others and with the universe - that's what we all want. These holidays offer you the opportunity to set a starting point for this and possibly live with more self-care and contentment afterwards...

The house is fantastic, has 6 rooms and four bathrooms, several places to eat and relax indoors and outdoors, a pool with sunbeds, a large space outside for dancing, and the beach is also very close (4 minutes by car). The cost of the accommodation is 270 euros per person per week. We share the cost of food and any travelling expenses.
Here we can get the feeling that we are in control of our own lives: Connection with the essentials, enjoyment and joie de vivre.

We can also organise our own transport to and from the destination or fly (Faro airport).

Das Haus

One element of nature, the earth, is also our planet. The scientist James Lovelock called the earth Gaia, a term from Greek mythology for the earth goddess.He was able to prove that Gaia has the characteristics of a living being: she has a metabolism. She creates it and keeps it stable.

The shamans call the earth ‘Pachamama’, Mother Earth, and honour her.
Earth connects us to our roots, to our immediate physical being in this world.

This workshop is an invitation to go deeper into contact with the earth, through drum rhythms, through contact with nature and with the material clay (earth).
Clay is mouldable earth, the primordial raw material of life. Working with clay connects us with our unconscious and allows our fingers to create shapes
to create shapes that we have not planned: Shapes of our inner self. Clay is soft and pliable and reacts to the slightest movement.
Touching the clay sometimes feels like touching our own origins.

A weekend in contact with our original essence in dance with nature and the element earth - before we move on to the information for the instruction of this work, we will make many of our own experiences with clay. Please also bring a swimsuit/bikini/swimsuit.

Life is a mystery. The rational mind cannot fathom it. Many philosophers have tried, but they have all failed at some point. They tried to use their minds to approach things that are beyond reason. The mind is a marvellous tool and very useful for many things, but it cannot grasp the big things. However, there is another way to approach the meaning of life and that is to STUN. Life becomes beautiful when you see it as a miracle every day. When was the last time we marvelled at something? Marvelled with heart and feeling and a great inner joy?

When the heart rejoices, our own vibration immediately rises, joy in existence arises and at the same time we help the earth to transform into light. Life is basically a game and that is why we should remember that we are children. As a child, we had a tremendous desire to learn, to discover and to marvel at what we discovered, no matter how small and insignificant it was to adults. As a child, we were open to new experiences every day and as a result, new miracles kept happening in our lives. When did we lose this childlike trust in the kindness of the universe? Is it because of our expectations of how things should be or our fear of letting go and trusting the universe? Where is our joy of adventure? We have traded it in for security - and that is not the best way to live.

We should be open to everything new again and live from the now. We can only be amazed in the present moment and miracles happen suddenly without warning. Mindfulness is absolutely necessary, because it is all too easy to overlook the signs and coincidences. Those who are intent on distraction will hardly be able to recognise anything of the mystery of life. If all our desires are for material goals, we should know that these will one day be fulfilled and boredom will set in. Then we only perceive the familiar, the everyday, live either in the past or the future and one day ask ourselves the question: "Is that all there is to it?

If we focus instead on beauty, love and the wonders we are always surrounded by, these will grow.  Nature can be a great help to us, because it is full of surprises, greatness and beauty. If we look closely and focus on it, it gives us strength in the form of energy and love for everything that exists. Marvellous sunrises and sunsets, forests, the sea ..... Sylt is an ideal environment to go on a journey of discovery and experience this mystery. Our conference centre is in Wennigstedt, right on the beach; there are plenty of double rooms and a few single rooms. We have a large group room and also dance outside near the house and on the beach. Come with us on this Biodanza holiday!

Similar to the four elements, animals also have great symbolic power. The snake, the tiger, the hippopotamus and the heron are animals chosen by Rlando Toro; they symbolise qualities of feelings and movements that live within each of us and which we – like our ancestors – can express.

The connection with animals also has a shamanic characteristic, because we become the respective animal and learn from it how it perceives the world.This seminar will enable us to awaken the essence of these elemental archetypes that nature offers us.
The tiger is power, passion, synergy, agility, strength, attentiveness; it loves its body, its elasticity, its sense of rhythm. It is conscious, relaxed and self-confident.
The snake is a symbol of energy, undulating movement, seduction and magnetism full of sensual wisdom. It teaches us to move, to reinvent ourselves, to overcome obstacles and to be close to Mother Earth.
The hippopotamus represents the instinct for satiety, for the fullness of the senses, which is connected with visceral pleasure, the emotional sensuality of the herd, the feeling of belonging, serenity... in short, with the enjoyment of life.
The heron symbolises inspiration, lightness, an expanded view full of possibilities, a gift from heaven. Strength, joy and freedom.
So, we experience ourselves in a whole new way and can also integrate these new forms of expression into our everyday lives. Greater satisfaction, better health and a more optimistic outlook on life are often the result.

In this way, we broaden our view of the world, our repertoire of movement and expression, and increasingly perceive ourselves as part of the abundance of life, which we can discover in ever new facets until the end of our lives. A wealth that costs no money.
